A compact robot dog for research, education, and public safety

The Unitree Go2 is a compact quadruped robot, about 15 kg with its battery, that walks over steps, slopes, and uneven ground. Stokes Robotics sells it in 11 configurations, from the Air and Pro to the X, EDU, and ENT versions.

The configuration decides what the robot can do. The Air and Pro run Unitree’s built-in functions. The X and EDU open the robot to secondary development, and EDU adds NVIDIA computing and a depth camera. ENT versions add equipment for industry and public safety work.

Built for three kinds of work

Classrooms and labs

EDU versions give students and researchers a programmable legged robot with ROS 2 and SDK support.

Inspection

Thermal imaging and gas sensing options for equipment and site inspection work.

Public safety

ENT, ENT Plus, and ENT MTPTZ add a screen remote and dual links, and ENT Plus adds a searchlight and voice broadcast.

Unitree Go2 FAQ

What is the difference between the Unitree Go2 and SHEP?

SHEP is built on the same Go2 configurations and adds Stokes Robotics secondary development, which sets the robot up for your industry and job and can include curriculum and training. The Unitree Go2 is sold without Stokes development.

Which Go2 versions can be programmed?

According to Unitree, the Go2 X and Go2 EDU support secondary development. EDU adds an NVIDIA expansion dock (40 TOPS on EDU Standard, 100 TOPS on EDU Plus) and a RealSense D435i depth camera. The Air and Pro run Unitree’s built-in functions and app-based graphical programming.

How long does the Go2 run on one battery?

Unitree lists 1 to 2 hours on the standard 8000 mAh battery and 2 to 4 hours on the 15000 mAh long-life battery. EDU comes with the long-life battery, and the Air and Pro include the required upgrade to a long-life battery plus one extra.

How high can the Go2 climb?

Unitree lists a maximum climbing drop height of about 16 cm and slopes up to 40° for the Pro, X, and EDU. The Air handles about 15 cm and 30°.

What do the ENT configurations add?

ENT versions are built for industry and public safety work. ENT, ENT Plus, and ENT MTPTZ add a remote with screen, a 5.8 GHz main link with 4G backup, and dual 1080p wide-angle cameras. ENT Plus adds a searchlight, warning lights, and voice broadcast, and ENT MTPTZ adds a thermal imaging gimbal. ENT GAS is based on the Go2 EDU and adds gas and environmental sensors.

Can I buy the Unitree Go2 online?

Yes. Choose your configuration, add-ons, and quantity, then check out online. If your school, agency, or company needs a purchase order or a formal quote, request a quote and our sales team will build it with you.
