Questions
Unitree R1 FAQ
All EDU versions support high-level and low-level development, with robot models and simulation interfaces for environments such as Isaac Sim. The R1 Basic is not programmable.
EDU Standard adds a 40 TOPS expansion dock. EDU Smart upgrades to 100 TOPS and adds a 2-axis head for 26 degrees of freedom. EDU Pro A and B add two Dex3-1 three-finger hands (Pro B is also available with Dex5-1 five-finger hands at the same price), and EDU Pro C and D add two BrainCo Revo 2 five-finger hands.
Unitree lists about 1 hour of runtime. The battery is quick-release, so a spare keeps the R1 running through longer sessions.
At about 25 kg and 1210 mm tall, the R1 is the lightest humanoid we sell. EDU versions give students a programmable humanoid, and our curriculum and training add-ons help teachers run it.
No. The STEMBOTICS curriculum license, onsite setup and training, and online training are optional add-ons. Choose the ones you want at checkout or in your quote request.
