SHEP-W FAQ

What is the difference between SHEP-W and the Unitree Go2-W?

SHEP-W is built on the same Go2-W configurations and includes Stokes Robotics secondary development, set up for the way you will use it. The Unitree Go2-W is sold without Stokes development.

What does Stokes development add?

Stokes secondary development elevates the robot for a specific industry and job. Depending on how you will use SHEP-W, it can include curriculum, training, and development that enhances what the robot can do.

Can law enforcement and corrections agencies use SHEP-W?

Yes. SHEP-W is available on the Go2-W ENT Plus and ENT MTPTZ configurations. ENT Plus adds a searchlight, red and blue warning lights, and voice broadcast, and ENT MTPTZ adds a thermal imaging gimbal. Stokes Robotics law enforcement packages are non-lethal only.

How is SHEP-W different from SHEP?

SHEP-W is built on the wheel-legged Go2-W, which rolls on 7-inch pneumatic tires and weighs about 18 kg. SHEP is built on the legged Go2, which weighs about 15 kg.

Do I have to buy the curriculum or training?

No. The STEMBOTICS curriculum license, onsite setup and training, and online training are optional add-ons. Choose the ones you want at checkout or in your quote request.

Can I buy SHEP-W online?

Yes. Choose your configuration, add-ons, and quantity, then check out online. If your school, agency, or company needs a purchase order or a formal quote, request a quote and our sales team will build it with you.
