What it is
A humanoid you can program
GiGi starts with the Unitree G1 EDU and adds Stokes Robotics secondary development on top. The result is a compact humanoid robot set up for manufacturing production work, with the freedom for your team to write its own code.
Unitree sells the G1 in several configurations. The base version runs the manufacturer’s built-in functions and, according to Unitree, does not support secondary development. The EDU version opens the robot to ROS, SDKs, and APIs.

Questions
GiGi FAQ
GiGi is built on the G1 EDU and includes Stokes Robotics secondary development, set up for the way you will use it. The Unitree G1 is sold without Stokes development, as the Basic version or as a G1 EDU configuration. Unitree states the Basic version does not support secondary development.
Yes. Every GiGi configuration is built on the G1 EDU, which supports ROS, SDKs, and APIs for secondary development. Your team can run the setup we deliver or build on it with its own code.
Unitree lists about 2 hours of runtime from the 9000 mAh battery. The battery is quick-release, so a spare keeps GiGi running through longer sessions.
GiGi should always run with a trained operator in charge and a clear area around it. Unitree advises keeping a safe distance between its humanoid robots and people during operation. We offer operator training before and after the sale.
Yes. We offer onsite setup and training for the people who will run GiGi, before and after the sale. It is an optional add-on you can choose at checkout or in your quote request.
