Stokes Robotics Introduces Branding Changes to Clarify Product Differences

Stokes Robotics announces our branding changes to clarify differences in our USA-version robots based
on Unitree technology and the original Unitree Chinese versions. Below is a table showing the
differences in the models.
As the leading American partner for Unitree Robotics, Stokes Robotics creates robotic systems based on
Unitree technology, developing educational solutions that are each majority American-made. To reflect
this Americanization of the products, Unitree and Stokes have agreed to rename the Americanized
versions of the robotic systems.

Unitree (Chinese Version) –> Stokes Robotics (USA Version)
G1 –> GiGi
Go2 –> SHEP
B2 –> Bear

All Unitree robots use computer chips designed and manufactured by NVIDIA, a USA-based chip
manufacturer. All Stokes Robotics educational packages contain the following differences from their
corresponding Chinese versions:
1. Connectivity package – This connectivity package ensures safely-installed, inspected
software on a development computer with the ability to program and control the robot on
an isolated, independent network. While customers can choose to integrate the system into
their existing network, this system allows them to keep the robot and its SDK completely
isolated if the customer prefers.
a. USA WIFI adapter
b. USA router
c. USA laptop with Stokes-approved SDKs installed at the Stokes facility for increased
security
2. USA tablet with robot’s controller app installed
3. USA-based customer support
4. USA-based training
5. Curriculum designed, created and maintained by American educators correlated to state and
national standards.
6. Sample programs designed and developed by Stokes Robotics’ programmers based in the
USA.
7. 5G disabled unless special request made by customer, then only available through USA
telecom provider
8. Each robot is tested in the USA by Stokes Robotics’ technicians at Stokes Headquarters to
ensure quality and security standards are met.
9. At least 50% of the costs of all Stokes Robotics’ education packages are from USA-based
components.
